Adopted by all United Nations member states in 2015, the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) “provide a shared blueprint for peace and prosperity for people and the planet, now and into the future.”
Forestry contributes to all 17 of the SDGs, including providing clean water, affordable and clean energy, decent work and economic growth, responsible consumption and production, and climate action.
