Plant trees, sure. But to save the climate, we should also cut them down.

Our forests have a critical role to play in capturing carbon and limiting the effects of climate change. And with worsening wildfires and pest outbreaks, sustainable forest management is more important than ever.

Forested areas prone to wildfires left unchecked allow the fires to spread further and release considerable CO2 back into the atmosphere. Sustainable forest management offers a solution where select, at-risk trees are felled and replanted to extend the life of the entire forest. The wood from these trees continues to store carbon and provide additional environmental benefits in essential products and as an alternative energy source.
